SUMMERFIELD TOWNSHIP -- Eight children were safely removed from a Summerfield school bus that got hung up on a guy wire this morning.




'Don't be stupid,' bank robber told teller
A man walked into the Monroe bank, approached a teller and, with a Tootsie Roll sucker in his mouth, handed over a note that instructed her to give him money and said "don't be stupid.' He then escaped, reportedly with more than $2,000.




Homeless man arrested, suspected in bank robbery
Acting on a tip, police this afternoon found the man they believe robbed the Bank of America branch Wednesday morning.
